VW Mechanic, HELP Needed (can't get to paintball...)

Hey peeps.

Are there any Mechanics who are familiar with a 2L Petrol engined VW Sharran? It's a 2002, 6 Speed jobbie.
Need help as I have a light on. Fault code says "Low Voltage on EGR Valve"

This is effecting my emissions and if it don't pass the MOT I won't be able to play paintball, due to cost and transport!

I understand what the EGR does, pretty much where it is (Ba$tard!) and that it is likely stuck open or closed or both or has a vacume leak on it or something, but help would be appreciated.

Could be the contacts need a clean.

Google seems to be failing me sadly.

Most of the bits are about Diesel engines on there.

I think my valve will be an utter sh!t to get at though, typically.

12 is EGR solenoid
13 is EGR valve position sensor worth giving the wire connections a clean, if they are difficult to get something inside to clean them, unplug/plugin a few times, should clean them up.
14 Appears to point to the fuel filter which I guess is below

Yeah, the boys at my BT garage showed me that on their PC, so I had an idea where the valve was. It does appear to be at the back under 13/14
