voodoo derlin bolt

hi there
Just bought a voodoo derlin for me shocker from SP and it dont look like the 1 in the pic so i was wondering does any 1 else have 1 of these and and doyou no if this is right .

It is black definetly made of derlin but shape aint the same cos the 1 in the pic has the grooves where the o rings would go

Also do i just the leave the input pressure at what it was set last time i put it over the crono ?? 170ish 285 fps?/

you should find the velocity goes up with good delrin bolt so you may find you actually reduce the pressure to fire at the same velocity. The up side is you should now get more shots per tank

um.... bruce.... well the delrin bolts dont need o rings or oiling, and u will experience less kick, and better accuaracy at long ranges.... enjoy!

you will find that depending on the make of Delrin bolt will detemine if you still need to use o-rings, the voodoo and the IPB both still have the o-ring cuts in the bolt so generally still need the o-rings on. You dont need to grease as you say as it has been know to swell the delrin bolt. There is less kick but the shocker never kicked that much anyway it just means there is less pressure on the bolt and thus the solinoid.

Bruce i ordered a Voodoo derlin from smart parts and it has no grooves for the o-rings does this mean it is a cheap copy??? ie not voodoo

No

if it doesnt have the rings then its a newer design so should not need them. SP uk are the guys who come up with the voodoo parts so they will be bona fida items.
