just seen the downloadable hopper manuals from oily (many thanks) and seen that my vlocity select force which i bought secound hand a while ago and have only just used, dosent seem to look the same internally, just woundering why? could it be an upgraded one?

M8 that manual is for the XSV which has a different paddle arrangement.
It does say XSV near the end of the link.
