ive owned my VLocity for about 6months. love it BUT it goes thru batterys like they r going out of fashion. i dont mind this but when im having to change my batterys after just 15mins play then it gets a bit tiresome. i put fresh in before a tourny just after turning up on site and come dinnertime i have to change them again due to a red flashing lite on the back on the loader. does anyone else have the same problems?

the settings on the back. i have my tension on 4 but speaking to someone at the weekend whos was set to 1 and having a go with his ego i saw that the tension made no difference to the speed it fed.

simply is ur vlocity battery affective and wat setting do u have it set to..

thnx.

I run mine on setting 1 and it is no more battery hungry than most other hoppers, given that I put a new set in for tourneys whether it needs it or not. The force feed settings eat batteries as the motor is constantly driving, so if you want to use more than setting 1 try turning the loader off until just before game on, just don't forget to turn it on again:eek: The speed settings make no difference to feed speed as the impeller doesn't turn any quicker, but just increases the 'off the break' speed as there is more or less force on the ball stack when the hopper is waiting for that first shot. At 15bps I find setting 1 fine and fast enough for my sausage fingers:)
