vlocity & batteries

what have ppl found with tregards battery consumption and the vlocity, me and my mate got thru 2 sets of 9v batteries each today, are other ppl finding the vlocity thirsty as hell as well ?

i literally took the batteries out of the wrapper this morning and after 4 games the solid red light as coming on

Seems about right, setting 1 will help a lot but then you loose the force feeding.
I think the vlocity is more suited to supair where you play for 5 mins then turn it off until the next game.
In recball where you have it on for an hour+ at a time the batteries will be dead within 4 hours.

Playing supair i can get 3 or 4 cases off a set of batteries, however i went to the warped big game a month or so ago and the batteries were flat before i'd managed a case so it seems more related to time switched on than the amount of paint you shoot.

thanbks for input, i had procells in it, but kept it turned on all day at the genesis tourney "oop norf".

will try it on setting 1 or 2 mext time, i had it on setting 3 all day sunday

OK get som 9.6v recargables off ebay cost £4.50 and will last 5 cases on setting 7 ok 3 cases on MAX
