Virus !!

If anyone receives an email from paintball@paintball.ru delete it It is a Worm Virus my software stopped it but just to warn anyone, it is coming through as a blank email but it is there also there seems to be a spate of these emails from sales@paintballsales.com as well (blank that is) so it is fair to assume these are also a virus

As far as I know my machine is clean I have sent a few test emails to various email accounts I have but as anyone who knows me will tell you I don't send attachments unless I have already told the person I would be sending something attached.

Temple I would guess but nothing sorted as yet, as for virus's all clean checked and double checked, due to the fact I haven't given the email addy to either of the sites it is coming from my addy must have been collected from another computer/site. So it wasn't my machine that got hacked in the first place, ages ago someone from the boards got a virus and I got emails from them with the virus (software stoppped it) but the person didn't know until I posted on here.

Oh btw you asked me ages ago for some links ...but you didn't tell me what addy you wanted the link to.

Glad it's all ok and you guys still playing. I have tried to get hold of sid on numerous occasions. Is he ok not retired? or anything silly like that.

I did get the "paintballsales" E-mail , and it was blank and had a download button, so I'm just comfirming that one. I didn't download it, although I did read it, and like I said- it was blank.

Thats the one, DON'T download a thing I was getting fed up with getting blank emails from them so I forwarded to another email account thats when I found the virus (I was already suspiscous sp?) it is a .bat file

Ok time to add another email addy this time the guy is a little more visible the email is lennis82@hotmail.com a 4 line email with a file size of 150 kb....come on !!!
