Virus Warning

two emails recieved today one from jon payne saying a virus from paintballer.com has been sent to everyone on here.....
jdbgmgr.exe is whats its called !!!!and you must DELETE it

Then one email saying DONT delete it .....

Which one is TRUE ??????

aaaaah, hoaxes

Ignore the e-mail that tells you to delete the file.

The file is in fact part of a standard windows distibution. Almost everyone that recieves this e-mail will have the file.
All e-mails like this are hoaxes. If you goto a website like McAfee's, they also have details of hoaxes, as well as actual viruses, which can be helpful.

I imagine someone finds it funny, and so starts these things, I just find they clog my inbox, I just hit delete.

Jonc is right, jdbgmgr.exe I think is a Java debugger.

If you click here and enter what the virus is, or a certain file name etc it will tell you if it is a hoax or real and if it is real what to do about it and it rates viruses as No real harm or Your Computer is now Fncked. its really useful site
