virtue problems for ion

hi guys and gals

iv got and ion and have just put my virtue board in: my marker was working fine with stock board and now iv changed to my virtue all im getting is like a phut sound when it should be firing.
battery is fine otherwise yellow LED would be on when turned on, eyes are fine pressure is going through the reg, banjos and everything seem to be in properly just the bolt not cycling, iv got a firebolt in

i took the virtue board out the packet fitted it and that is it, i dnt know if i should takent he black cloth stuff off the noid when i took it out the packet or anything.

i thought it was that why i left it otherwise it wouldnt of been like that, but with it not working i just wondered ;)

right

iv totally stripped the marker cleaned etc, new battery but still not working properly, the phut still there as the air is firing through but the bolt only going part the way forward and the odd time it will work proeprly through a flury of shots say out of 35 shots being fired about 2 are cycling properly!!!:eek:

you have a qev? im pritty sure the virtue comes with a really low dwell... and if you dont have a qev this would cause your problem... set your dwell to 45 and see if it helps

Reset the Virtue board to stock settings (in case any have been messed with accidentally). Also, try resetting your HPR to whatever the stock number of turns out is (possibly 3, but it should be in the manual).

Also, what type of batteries are you using? Some types are complete w*nk, and won't go as far as firing even a single shot fresh out the packaging.

May sound a bit silly, but when fitting the virtue board did you take the noid off the old board and put it in the virtue board.... as the virtue board doesnt come with a solenoid....

I would just take it all out and start again following the instuctions that came with the virtue board.

Thats the way i did mine and all works fine...

and if thats not the case i would go with these guys, Battery problems...
