Virtue eyes not working

Hey,

I got some virtue eyes yesterday for my etek 1, I installed them and they do not read properly, I have checked to make sure they work, and they do.

They can't read when a ball is not in the chamber.

The wierd thing is though, that when I take one of the detents out and put the eye(not the one that lights up in the detent hole, it works...

I'd put the stock ones back in but...well...one of the wires has snapped

It is connected to the board fine,

its just that to make the 2 meet, i have to loop the light one around, this makes it work properly, but as soon as I try to put the eye cover back on the wire is moved, breaking the laser between the 2.

Any ideas?

You are better off with the planet ones mate, I got some virtue ones for my ego last year and had problems with them, they always showed a ball in the breach as the eye covers moved them out of alignment when in place as one of the eyes was round rather than square and didn't quite fit the square placement, I emailed virtue for some advice and they just said put some electrical tape on them to hold them in place?

thats the same problem I have, so should I just send the virtue ones back to BZ(where I bought them) or Virtue for a refund?

That is for you to decide dude, I sold mine to a mate who had an 05 ego and he had no problems at all with them
