Shame about all the post Oslo I shot you first threads. But hey If Pball makes it to T.V thats the sort of show that viewers would watch! The Dux Nexus match made for great Viewing, Loads of over shooting, swearing and penalties.
The team had a great time in Norway and we will be back next year, Ingvar had done a great job with all the fresh fruit for teams and even went to the trouble of watering the fields after the days play!
There was a lot of talk about how expensive it would be, and apart from beer it wasn't too bad.
Hotel £31 a night inc b/fast (With roof top swimming pool overlooking the Marina)
Mini bus £24 each
Flight £70
Huge Pizza and a pitcher of Beer £24
The Norwegian Girls... Priceless!
Cheers Ingvar,
Chuck.

Really good event shame about the lack of teams supporting it.
EXL was fun to watch, a russian legion player trying to win a oscar but i think he got pipped by a joy player.
Open xball was nuts too the standard just gets higher and higher.
I had a awesome time out there, The women are incredible

Thanks to all the jags for making the trip worth every penny

OUR BUS RULED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(Martins shorts however didn't)

Planet Piper away from you freaks!
It was an event in itself, well for the Sharks it was!

Pailey missing most of his flights!
Glen just being Glen!
Me being ill!Think I was ill due to the price of beer my body just rejected it!

But other than that it was excellent. Those teams that did not show up missed out, BIG TIME.

Ingvar and all his staff did an excellent job, Norway is an amazing place for sure.

Open XBall was good fun, EXL had some great matches and some great comedy moments.

As for the Jags Short Bus, that has to be one of the funniest things I have seen, 15 players getting off a short bus that they hired from a compaqny called Rent A Wreck! And the company supplied the red ballons for all the passengers, which was nice!

See you there next year!

Ingvar: Thanks for the tourny!!

And thanks for the guy who helped us at the OpenXball field! Im sorry but in the crazy rush I couldn't ask for your name but your help was priceless!! (and thanks for getting my gun repaired at WDP)

I don't know if it was the scorching sun, difficult field or partying to 4 am that made the reffing in the EXL and Open X not as sharp as it used to be. In the EXL technical timeouts dragged the games, refs explaining almost every situation to the players. Just make the decisions and get on with the game!

Great tourney even though it was a small one. Cant believe how many teams (or lack of!) turned up. Was very suprising!

Didnt find Norway 'that' expensive, it was only really the alcohol which swallowed money like no theres no tomoro!!
Great weather in a beautiful country with beautiful people and loadsa paintball, what more could I ask for for a weekend away!!!

I didnt see much of the 7 man, but from what i saw in Xball i thought the reffing was superb.
People complain when they get penalties or get pulled from a game and are not given a reason for it!!! Now there's complaints when they do explain situations! Will the refs ever get in the good books of players!!??!!

Oh...that would have been me :) If you are the short guy on Bullets who split your Macro line I now know who you are too!

You guys deserved the win, you played your hearts out and through the losers' bracket too. It wasn't so bad to go out to you guys as you went on to win either :). We'll catch up at Campaign for sure.

As for the event, well all the teams that either bailed or just didn't front up missed out. Everything was well run, where you needed it etc. In fact the lack of teams kinda made it a relaxed event in the sun. Only concern might be lack of ideas on food, but with only 30 ish teams what can they do.

Oh...and as for Martin "what happened to GZ" shorts....even Glen wouldn't wear them and he wears pink girls slippers
