no they're not really that good, if you've ever used a paradox they're exactly the same as that.
How much are they going for and i can tell you more

like the guys said, go for an Ion..

For the price of an Orion, just save a mittle more and get yourself an Ion..

The orion is just an average High preasure blow back if memory serves...

Sure the Ion will need a bit more TLC, but the Ion will go toe to toe with any marker out there and hold its own..
where with an Orion, your gonna be outgunned at a walkon or a tourney.

Only thing with the Ion is its generally advised to strictly use Air.

Ive played with Various guns and I would say its horses for courses.

Yes the ion is the nuts for the money but if youre playing in the woods go for a Tippmann They'll see you through.

I've Currently got 4 Markers a Old school automag68 a Vl Genesis surge2 aTippmann A5 and a AngelSpeed and The auto mag is a nice bit of kit but old now the Angel kicks butt ! But i wouldn't replace the A5 for woodsball . But The VL even tho the egrip is capped at 7 bps lets me hold my own in the woods and in amonest the Inflatables! Its the one I goto for back up.

I think there regarded as the Skoda of the paintball world. Everybody takes the piss but There nice and simple to strip and to understand. They work! and theres sod all to go wrong.

I won't say go out and buy one tomorrow But do your research and If your just going out once in a while and want something basic Get one. It's not going to get u respect but it works! and when you see people sitting there trying to get there ions to work you'll laught but once the get them going its a different story.

my dad has got a load of orions for playing in the woods with, they are reasonably good markers for the price. But tbh you may aswell buy an ion or and e cocker off the forums.

...

or just buy a second hand angel for £150! seems to be plenty about, for that price or less, and theres plenty of upgrade board options for really opening up that can o' wup ass! yeah, ion's are good. but by the time you've spent the cash on upgrades, you could very easily hit the £300+ mark...

...and lets face it.

once you buy a marker, you will always want a better one... :D
