:( I know its more money but paint sizes do vary (slightly)with each manufactured batch so I would suggest that a full Freak set is bought not just one insert. Remember the idea behind the complete Freak set is that once bought you will never need another barrel with a different bore size. Change marker then just buy a new back piece.
I don't like spending other peoples money but you will save in the long run.

That is all.

Well if he takes your advice he will be spending more than he needs to. ;) I am not a fan of Freak systems (I have made no secret of that :D ) but when this last came up all of the owners of full Freak systems said that they never used more than 4 inserts most common answer was 3 inserts...so Jack save your money and buy one freak back and one front and then decide on the inserts...posting again to find out the more commonly used ones will get you the answer.

jack, problem is, the paint they have at npf varies. i still have one pod of victory from start of december, an some from a month b4. im not gonna use em, mainly coz its not very good. can be inconsistent sizes and sometimes breaks to easily. in all honesty, i would recommend a full set, as the paint there can change.

if u can only afford one insert at a time then start with a larger bore one. you may not get the most accurate shot/acceleration but you won't have soup coming out the end of the barrel :D as and when u can upgade with additional inserts

huh Mark? :)
Works for me :D I don't use a Freak and have 5 barrels in differing bore sizes and although I have used all of them at least once (well 2 I had just bought so I wanted to say I had used them) I tend to use just 2 of them ....688 and 690 but even if the barrels I had were a Freak....how many of the FULL set would I have never used if just the once? 8 is a full set, have 5, so $15 each Total of $45 + shipping (if buying from the states) and £17 +vat =£19.99, Total of £59.96 + postage, that may be free 'cos of the money spent? (if buying from the UK)
