The Vantage is a lower end goggle, it's not supposed to compete with the Profiler so maybe they toned down the style on purpose?

Am curious as to what makes a goggle good looking or ugly?

I don't like any of the Vforce apart from the Profiler. I don't like the Invision at all. The proto is ok, but nothing stunning.

I like the Proflex.

I like the Scott Intruder in part, but it's dated.

Don't like the Raven.

I liked the Vents in many ways, but very old school now.

Hmmm come to think of it, there really is only three sets of goggles I like, profiler and proflex I would wear now, and Vents from the old days.

I wear a profiler currently.

What do you guys wear? and like/dislike.

I wear proflex, wouldnt wear anything else.

Yeah those old scott ones were good, nice and simple lines.

Most of the newer goggs look demented.

The dye ones make you look like an extra in a 3rd rate insect invasion B Movie.

Vforces always look like they have come with the 'transformers, robots in disguise dress up playset'.

Proteus are just ugly.

Its strange how these new masks have quick release lenses and other good features yet most people who have a choice wear proflex, looks are everything I guess.

Where are you playing? At local fields and national events, I see more profilers than anything else.

I love the profilers. They are comfy, they look good, and they are so easy to change lenses in.

Having said that, the only other goggle I would wear is the Proflex.

I have both. Profilers and Proflex. Wear both. Obviously not at the same time. I've been playing for 15 years now so I've seen and owned them all....

I do like my profilers though. Wore them all the time until the lens started fogging again.

That reminds me, must get some of that anti-fog spray thingy stuff...!!!!

If I had to choose one or the other......... profilers

Field of vision is far superior, or so it sems anyway. They 'feel' more comfortable too. again, IMO.

The last NPPL event surveyed showed nearly 60% of people wearing the profilers.

Can't remember the numbers for the other goggles, but Proflex was second.

We all seem to have similar tastes in goggles. The Proflex is still standing the test of time. I wonder what it is, that makes one better than another?
