This year is the 25th anniversary of when BAD COMPANY, LONDON, ENGLAND started playing tourny paintball. We all want to meet up and play ( goes without saying really ) but we don't want to shoot the crap out of each other, like a practice day. We want to shoot the crap out of you lot, AGAIN.
This is a call to arms ( Splatmasters, Bushmasters, Phantoms, Bud Orrs, Sterlings and early Automags etc ) a call out to the early teams and guns from the 80s and 90s.
If those guns ring a bell try these team names, Bad Company, The Predators, The Nam Wrecking Crew, Nightmares, Mayhem Tigers, Rogue Troopers, Terminators, Shortimers, The Turks, Shades of Grey, Brothers in Arms, Barnet Wrecking Crew, Norty Boys, The Rat Pack, Team With No Name, Grave Diggers, Weekend Warriors and the many more that I can't remember off the top of my head.
I'll front up now and throw down a challange to you all. I am proposing a woodland format game with two teams, two base camps and old school tourny rules, to be played this summer at a London based venue.
This will be a 'vintage' woodland game aimed at all us old Vets but come one come all, everyone will be welcome, bring it on but leave any old grudges in the past. Allthough this game is for us oldies we may not be able to use our old guns but we'll bring what we've got to give the newbies a laugh. I'll make sure there is rental kit available so everyone can play and be competative
I don't know who, if anyone, will be interested in this game but I'm gonna take a punt and see what happens. If you're in or got something to say, speak up now. I will look forward to hearing any comments. I would also like to hear from any sites that would like to host such an event. Run low and shoot straight.
