Can you only use certain regs for certain markers or is it just choice/performance between regs. I have an ultralight that I'm trying to set up and was thinking of getting a black magic reg. Would this be suitable or not?

with my ultralight i use the Dye hyper reg, mainly because the adaptor is on the bottom making it easier to switch hands, no idea on performance differences.
nope a reg is a reg is a reg.
you can use any brand with any marker 99% of the time unless the marker has a none standard thread.
althou some regs perform better at certain pressure ranges.
the black magic is made by wgp to go with their cockers origonaly...there is no reason why you cant use it on an ultralite, as it operates at around the same pressure.....go for it
