I have a vertical feed autococker and when you put the loader in the vertical feed it does not fit secure. It turns and in a little loose. Do I need a different vertical feed or do I just need to put some tape on the loader neck. Thanks

You can get a collar that fits over the end of the hopper feed which makes it the perfect size for your gun, but for some reason it didn't fit on my hopper!?!, so..... Its another job for the ever useful electrical tape! :)

I talked to one of the guys at the Planet, they sell the Dye Hopper inserts. Expands the hopper neck to fit most guns. I checked it out at the store and it fitted in my Autococker 2k VF no problem.

It is easier to go with the Tape though. :)

Anouther fix besides electrical tape (if you don't want to make your gun look like it was hacksawed together) is super glue. No don't glue the hopper to your gun!!! Make lines down the langth of the feed tube of the hopper with the glue. Make sure there dry before you insert it back into the gun. Start with three or four lines and if it's still lose add some more, this way you can avoid those embarising Tape lines on your spiffy guns.

I bought one of these Dye hopper inserts and it made my hopper neck too big:mad: I use masking tape because it isn't as sticky as insulation (electric) tape.

I see the new rico and halo come over sized so you can sand the neck down to fit, sweet:D
