are all vert maxies the same?

or are some for air and some co2?

i believe they are the same, only difference bein that with air, you'd have to have a preset reg on the bottle, as the input pressure should be around 500 psi, that and the macroline hosing from the ASA to the reg can't hold the pressure striaght out an air bottle.

They are the same and as for the using air on them all air tanks will have a reg fitted to them it may be a fixed reg or adjustable, although if you have a vert maxxy then a fixed 800psi reg system will do just fine or you can spend the extra and get an adjustable one but thats up to you.
