At the moment I quite enjoy the multi table holdem games.
I've been taking risks all in pretty early to get a foothold and if that pays off I find I can usually place. Still learning a lot though.

thing is, i'll only play what i can afford to lose

For sure...it's a slippery slope if you start betting what you can't afford.
Sticking to the 50 cent and freeroll games for now

I've got a buddy at uni who used to play for about 5-8 hours every friday night. Usually made about $200-$400. Would tide him over for the week! Cheeky bugger, I need to go get a few more lessons.
