Ok My vanguard creed been shooting perfect no problems, i checked the battery on it last night and it had got to 23%, decided to turn it off and charge in the morning as i didn't want to leave it unattended charging, go to turn it on in the morning and nothing, no screen comes up, i think the battery is flat so i put it on charge, wait 30 mins, still nothing, wait 1 hour still nothing, wait 1 1/2 hours and still nothing, what has gone wrong here ?

using vanguard charger, and used another charging cable from a pc ? , can a board break over night ?

what do i do, new battery, new board ? need help ???

thanks liam

hi Liam 93! i'm number 92 :D

might seem a bit daft but have you checked that the battery is definately connected? might just be rotten bad luck that it came undone when you put it away at night or something. never personally owned a creed but if you have a spare battery try changing it over completely and that should indicate if it's the board or the battery that is the problem

Hello 92 haha , yeah i have had it apart and checked the connections

this might sound weird as i think the gun needs to be on when charging ? , so if it ran out of charge how can i charge it, i am sure this isn't the case but seems very weird going from working 100% correct to not turning on, have emailed the guys at vanguard see what they have to say, but might see if i can buy a new battery, or one that definitely has charge, as a new battery is only £22.96 where as a board is £67.82 ( fat bobs paintball ) as i dont have a spare battery for it

Liam, just bought a Creed myself and had a similar charging issue but never got to flat. Opened up the grips and found the e yes and battery connectors loose!!! Quick push and all working great now. If this doesn't work contact Foot or Mclovin 101 on here and they'll be able to steer you.

will have another go now at making sure all connections are perfect, and i brought the gun off Mclovin 101 and was a great deal and extremely pleased with it so hopefully he can point me in the right direction on what needs to be done, but even if i have to spend £80 on a new board and battery still a great deal :)

the manual mentions nothing about having the gun on to charge it and for any electronic device being charged in general that would be pretty unefficient. if all the connections are in place either the battery is damaged and not holding a charge, or there is a problem with the board which could be either the charging connector is damaged or the battery connector which powers the board is damaged. either way it would be best to diagnose this by getting a new charged battery. if the worst comes to it and it's the board then you will at least have a spare battery.

Might sound stupid but have you checked you've put the non-usb end of the cable (the bit you actually plug into the Creed) in properly? I know I've had occasions where I've plugged it in and left it, only to come back later and find out it hasn't charged because it hasn't been in quite right, or put all the way in.

Shouldn't be the board maybe the battery. Do you have anyone close that has a creed. Or send me the battery and ill get another one in the post to you. I would do this before you look at buying a board :)
