I'm looking to build one of the following from scratch (in order):

1) Angel
2) Intimidator
3) Autococker (EBlade2 or Race framed)

I know a little about Autocockers and where I can get parts for them but I know nothing about Angels or Intimidators. Can anyone give me any advice on these markers or links to where I can get parts for them? This is going to be my main project over 2005 so, while I may have a whole year to complete this project, I'd like as much info as everyone can supply before I decide which marker to start on.

I already know it'll more than likely cost more building the marker this way but I'm aiming to learn about the marker while building it and, once it's built, I'll not only know the marker back-to-front and inside-out but also have a working, complete and unique high end marker added to my arsenal... which will be a keeper! Thanks in advance for all constructive help and advice supplied. Vag.

Cheers tom

The problem with building angels from scratch is the cost of alot of the parts.

EG...

Approx Second hand LCD on the classifieds:
£250 ($500)

Approx Cost to build an angel LCD from scratch if you found all the parts:
£650 ($1300)

Approx second hand speed '04 on the classiefieds:
£350 ($700)

Approx cost to build an angel Speed from scratch if you found all the parts:
£850 ($1700)

I know you said that you didnt mind the expense but you are going to do a project angel you are better off buying one second hand, taking it to peices and rebuilding it...

Cheers Tom..I am humbled by your kind recomendation:D

You cant really BUILD, an Angel or Timmy, in the way that you can Build a cocker.

There are plenty of places, you can get Cocker bodies, parts etc...its the most upgradeable marker you can get..bar none..as its basicly, been around the longest.

I can certainly help you out if you want help, and would be very willing to do so.

Pm me if you want, and I will give you my MSN addy.

go for an angel
John c mentioned its too expensive , after youve built it, its value is only going to be that of others second hand. (even though he said he would like to keep it)

If your looking for intimidator parts speak to TonyF(Nick on these boards), he's Aim Paintballs distributer in the UK, im sure he can get hold of most parts, including bodies etc.
