just realised i was looking at the wrong size. I need a box for 2x PP3 (standard 9v) batteries. They only sell boxes that take one battery

I don't have a box, but I have soldered up one with the two 9v's so they are attached in parallel, keeps it 9v but double the life basically.
Theres a diagram on PB nation, if you dare brave your way to it.

I use that + a bit of tissue to fill up the battery space.

I have a Cheetah board for the Halo.

Aparently, these are better than the V35, although, I can't quite remember why....
