Just picked up a new V-Force Mirror Morph (top of the Diablo/V-Force collaberation range) - fortunately I managed to pick it up for £20 ($26ish) where it's advertised as over $100 dollars - it's a wicked site I marshall at just the right contacts.
Now here's the details about them that I found important particularily wearign glasses.
Weight - minimal, absolutely minimal noticeable lighter than Flex-7's and even the Dye Invision sets
Ventilation and Fogging - Good, well positioned ventilation the soft lower half is well ventilated and still robust enough not to flick back at your bottom lip like Flex-7's occasionally do if you're unlucky with a hit.
The lenses DO NOT fog not at all well well hot direct sunlight sweating like a pig wearing only my playing thin jersey up top and breathing breath hot enough to well burn thru things! It wouldn't fog the coating's amazing - weird whilst it's drying after cleaning goes all tacky and sticky!
View - Wide and clean the lenses are spherical it's sold quite loudly on the sites I didn't care much think commercial gimmick but they are so clear looking similar to military air goggle lenses they are so crystal clear you don't figure you're wearing lenses the optical transmission must be up in the 80-90% area I will admit that I have been cooled a 'tart' coz I've got a silver mirror set as well as a standard spare lense but the tinted mirrored lenses are superbly designed keep glare non-existent and whilst darker increase contrast to a very useful range especially useful for me as a marshall when the extenuated paint colors positively glow.
Glasses - I wear glasses absolute bugger I know but well I can't be arsed dwith contacts these goggles fit they really fit and don't lock the glasses onto your nose are pinch the arms against your temples they are well comfy and because of the suberb ventialtion glasses lense fogging is avoided too very useful.
Dye Invision goggles are I'm afraid a pretty much no-go area for glasses wearers they pinch like buggery (I will point out I wouldn't know what buggery pinching is like just for the record!) but the close fit which in all fairness is no more than on the morph's traps glasses across the nose AS WELL as the arms on the temples - plus aren't you guys wearing them scared about your chin it sticks out the bottom!
Finally looks these goggles look sweet absolutely amazing as said I am a 'tart' according to my boss 'Beard' but well I have the Metallic Green Silver Mirror set, I have a spare clear lense (incidently rumor has it the flat armor lense fits in I'm yet to try it but that's what the rentals are at our site so I might play!). These goggles are the bomb the soft part moves and fits smoothly promoting bounces not soggy and sprawled under the face plate like on Flex-7's. What I'm now waiting for are my Gold Mirror and Amber lenses I have on order to see which one looks cooler - I've already been up out to buy a couple of new baseball caps to get the coolest look for my goggles oh so sad huh!
AGH Lenses forgot 5 second lense change - nuff said these fit better than I don't know a good session with the missus but you can get out and get in another one in seconds (not so good with the missus!) They are great!
