I am currently using the Proto switch FS goggle but after a few issues with fogging and just wanting to upgrade I have been looking into getting a new mask. I really like the look of the V Force Grill and know they are a popular choice. My only concern is that they don't come with a thermal lens as standard, so I wanted to know if the standard single pane lens is any good? I realise they now do thermal lenses but don't fancy buying a new mask and then having to purchase a new lens straight away. The Proto goggles I use have a thermal lens and even they fog up occasionally. Also any other recommendations would be appreciated. Cheers :)

Look at secondhand instead. With the release of vio's and klr's you will get some nearly new grillz for sale with the thermal lens.

Shaun there's a deal going with most retailers in the uk just now that it includes a dual pane lense free of charge on grillz.
My favourite masks for value for money are grillz and proflex, and as mentioned there's good savings to be had second hand. Although i've tried on a few Vio's and i've got to say that they are so comfy and visbility is so good on these that i'm planning on spending the extra dosh getting a hold of a brand new pair.

That's cool, any idea which retailers are doing this deal? Might have to have a look at the Vio's as well then. Was also looking at the KLR mask, any idea if these are meant to be any good? Thanks for the reply :)

I have a pair of Grillz, when I got them I got a free thermal lense which needed replacing after about 6 months or so. While I was waiting for a couple of lenses to arrive I popped in the original single pane lens which worked flawlessly in rain, snow, frost and sunshine. I was surprised if I'm honest but credit where it is due.

Where was it you got your Grillz from Dusty? Any idea if they're still offering the free thermal lens? Cheers :)

Phone any of the lovely retailers along the top who advertise and allow this site to continue existing. The only people in my humble opinion worth buying from :)

I recently switched over to the Grillz from, I4's only managed to use them a couple of times since buying them (Knee injury has put me out for a long time) but from what I did get to use them I really liked them I have a dual pane smoke lens not once did they fog even in the rain.
