Used to see more than 10 posts per page... now I don't?

Quick one for somebody (maybe an admin), but is there any logical reason why, in the past, there were maybe 25 threads per page in forum listings, and similar with posts per page in threads, and now I'm only seeing 10?

I did have a quick look - and it seems XenForo doesn't "get" setting this preference per-user and therefore implies this must have been a global change.

Only reason I ask is that I regularly trawl the For Sale section, and whereas it used to be ~2 pages a day, it's now getting on for 4.... I personally find this slightly irritating.
