its a good report but i think that it is wroung for them to use them in that way.
the person that shoot that girl should of got a longer time or somthing like that
why are ppl suing the gun manufacters when they state that protectiong must be worn?

3 weekends in a youth dentention place, is that supposed to even be a punishment if he thinks thats all hes gonna get for doing something like this what is going to stop him from doing it again.

there are some real idioits in the world and i suppose we are just going to have to live with it, i dont know about anyone else but i am always cautious about who i sell a marker too so i know they are not going to go out and do something like this.

and the bad thing is that its gonna start all over the world if and when the sport begins to grow :(

First of all parents educate your children!!! Second send them to school! And third let's stop glorifying guns and violence in America and let's stop this bullsh*t of "its a constitutional right to own a gun!" Thats all BS!!! As long as we sell guns in Supermarkets I won't be surprised to see accidents like that happen! Lets ask ourselves why these things mostly happen in the States. Is it not a question of education and culture! And look a the punishment the kid got!!! 3 weeks in a detention center! What kind of an example is that!!! How did we get so hypocritical and obtuse!!! Damn that pisses me off so bad! Violence is plaguing our country and we aren't doing anything about it and as long as its like that don't be surprised guys. Invest in education not guns!!!!

Craig I don't agree that we will be seeing this all over the world!

I doubt there will many accidents of the sort in Europe.... but maybe I'm just living in LaLa Land.......

I live in Ft Collins. The guy who shot the girl in that story also paid for her college education (and then some), so it isn't as though he cleaned up the park for three weekends and forgot it. According to the reports I have read, he is quite contrite, and although he wasn't punished very severely, remember, he was legally a minor. Prosecution of kids in the US is limited, and sentences tend to be much lighter than in crimes committed by adults. Aside from that (mild) distortion, I think it was a fair enough report.

I'm just shocked by the stats:

100 people treated for eye injuries every MONTH. Can you imagion if that kinda number of people (even propationally) were getting injured every month in the UK?

I'm also amased only 40% of ppl that get shot in the eye have long lasting vision damage...i would av though it would av been more like 90%!

I would reed to much ionto the stats.

The US is a REALLY big place.

My money is on the fact that more people are infured playing football, hockey, basketball etc....

Anyway, where did they get those stats from...????

Is someone really recording how many people are injured by paintball related incidents??
