Urgent timmy help needed

Ok, don't ask me how this happened, but water has got inside the frame on my Alias. I guess a water bottle in my bag leaked or something. Anyway, the Infamous board started acting crazy, and now won't power up at all. The board's not dead becuase you can still switch it between lock and unlock mode by unscrewing the frame etc. However the board still won't power up.

Does anyone have any ideas at all as to how to sort this. I really am desperate here! Is there hope for the board, will I need a new one or is the whole gun pretty much ****ed?

Water prob

OOOOPS best bet mate is to dry it out completely before trying it. Dont put it somewhere too warm either. My partner went swimming with her mobile in her pocket once and it only worked again after a couple of days drying. It was as good as new after though. Good luck.

I certainly hope so. Right now I am so angry I could easily rip someone's face off.

As 3pm says, stick it somewhere warm like the airing cupboard and let it dry out for a day or three.

I hope that's all it is, at least it'll be cheap to fix.

Played with it only once too such a shame, hope you fix it man.

All is not lost it would appear. According to the tech guy from Tadao it's probably just the membrane pad that's screwed, which is about £20 to replace. The board itself seems to work, and I have the original Frenzy board too. Worst comes to worst a new infamous board is only about £ 70.

try using a hairdryer on it for 5 mins or so....
