Who's got a big building or complex of buildings that we could use for paintball? Has anyone got a site that would simulate this?
Not wanting to sound desperate or anything, but I'm well keen for a bit of FIBUA...

Interesting!

I played the old ElectroWorkz site in N London years ago - heck of a rush! Old electro plating factory - good location for that kind of thing..

So - anyone know of a suitable site? More to the point, do any existing site operators have any interest in developing something like this?

Hmmmm,

Sounds like we're paving the way for an OBUA scenario game here...

My solution - okay I know its far fetched - but I do much army training in MoD towns built solely for OBUA and they would be perfect for Big Games. However, obviously due to the restrictions on MoD property, especially training grounds, getting permission would be hard, even if they saw share of the profits. Although, even though the 'towns' are pretty much in constant use, because of the majority of regiments in the Gulf, it means we might just have a shot. (Though I doubt it).

The best urban site was the old hots shots site at the ex greenham common base.. they had all the 4 storey buildings that comprised the american village there... had slides out of some top story windows too.. awesome. Trouble is you get kind of spoilt with that sort of set up.

I'd be up for one if it turned up fer sure.

I used to play hot shots every month, best site ever. Mixing it with the big boys, preds, iron men, great stuff.

There needs to be another site like that.

Too right mate... fantastic coz it had a proper bar as well and a cafe that served fry ups. Then there were the buildings.. were they cool or wot? walls blown out 3/4 storeys ... that's me fer the evening gonna go dream about urban sites... and probably glow in the dark while i'm doing it... did they ever find any buried radioactive waste there coz I know they looked after the site closed.

It's a shame USA has loads of urban sites.. we have very very few.. but we have loads of abandonned industrial areas... guess the insurance would be too much tho. Oh well hoping someone sees the niche

maybe you could start your own urban site, how much is a few acres of old industrial land nowadays? the problem come to insuring the place, old buildings which haven't been looked after in ages could be a potential death trap. however some building site contractors are always dumping huge slabs of broken concrete chipped of bridges and such like, i'm sure if you said you'd found a use for them i guess you could buy them for a reasonable price, maybe a few banged up old cars too.
just a thought:)

There's a big factory for sale that would make such a cool site. It's on the road between Woore and Stone in Staffordshire and if anyone's got the money there's a Huuuuuge pub for sale nearby as well, double money, hurrah!!!!!
