Hello, i just bought my new Spyder Xtra and am wondering about any upgrades that i should do to make the performance better?? My friends and i just made a team of 5 people and they have suped up raptor 3's, Upgraded Spyder TL+ and others.. i need to know what i need to upgrade on the gun and what brands would be good... Thank You!! I hope this board is better at giving some advice than Paintball.com's!!! By the Way, I love the info you give in your Magazines!!! Very usefull to a "Newbie" like myself!!

one of the first things you should always be sure u have is a good barrel. you want something u can trust for accuracy and performance. if u dont want to spend alot i would suggest the Custom Products One-Piece barrels, either a 12 or 14 inch(buy at www.paintballbarrels.com). dont get anything longer, ull just waste more air and not gain any distance. a 12 revy or a ricochet is always a good idea to keep thsoe balls feeding. a nice regulator is always good, i would suggest the palmer stabilizer (www.palmer-pursuit.com for info - would suggest buying from either www.888paintball.com or www.g3pb.com)because it does a great job with liquid co2 and is very consistant. good luck!

Also, you may want to invest in an anti-siphon'ed bottle, new expansion chamber, 12v and a new barrel. Or get a cheap preset air bottle.

Forget CO2-wanna play tourneys? Air is the best.
But first buy a better barrel-no need to go too far-I was happy with a Taso Winforce.
I would like to have a boo-yah (what the hell are they called now?storm I think) trigger.
Still not satisfied? Buy a good bolt (a plastic one which wont wear off-but only if you used your marker for a little while).
Last I would buy a Vigilante reg. You can better your consistency a lot.
Look we have a guy in our team who had the setup I mentioned(only he used Boomstick) and the marker was really good.
The only problem is that you end up givin'much more money than you were ought to give in a blowback. In the same price you'd buy the Impulse which would rock much better!
So if I was in your place I'd buy Air,Taso Barrel, 12V Rev.Hopper, and MAYBE a reg. so when I go to sth better I would be able to use most too.
