nerve ramping board upgraded bolt and a locking feed neck and somthing else i think

shockers are always breakin down n are difficult to fix wen they do. ions are simple to fix.

plus with an Ion you will never never get rid of the crappy hoses, and you wont have as good build quality

and before you say but you have never shot an ion, i have put over £550 into my ion, and also own a shocker, and qould choose the shocker anyday

Shocker is inferior on every count to the (moderately but not stupidly) upped Ion, and will happily defend that to anyone

Rremove the cost of the barrel cos most gats need this,

Needs:
£25 feedneck
£25 bottomline
£20 trigger

=£80 in my book

=££230 new unless you need a very new ramping board or a metal body because you're very shallow

Good man! balls to the hype, the ions a great gat to shoot. prefer the ego overall myself purely for the teching side of things really but its deffinitely a close one, on the field there isnt anything in it really.

I never thought I would actually stick up for the Ion, but in this case I think that with minor modifications (as Bulldog2k outlined) an Ion can match, or surpass a Shocker in overall performance.

The new Lucky board, along with a huge selection of aftermarket parts make the Ion as fast, and more efficient than any shocker, along with the breakbeam eyes the Ion has, which the shocker hasn't.

BUT (and it's a big BUT) the NXT platform Shocker is due for release soon, fixing the alot of the minor problems that the Shocker has, then i think you'll find it'll come out on top without breaking a sweat.
