Unreal Paintball Walk-On 30th Oct

Hi all

Unreal Paintball will be holding its 4th Domination walk-on at the end of the month on Sunday the 30th. We have been slaving away down at the site and have come up with a few twists so Domination will be played over a different area. The Sup/Air surrounding the castle will be repositioned and the spawn points moved back into the Tyre map. One domination point will be directly infront of the castle whilst the other will be in a new playing area in the middle of the top wood called the command post. This ensures we can utilise as much of the top wood as possible giving you all a huge area to play on.

The format will be 4 big 1hr games with respawning and as usual the objective is to capture both the domination points to register a score. We are also working out a format involving a domination point in the trenches but this might be weather dependant, unless of course you dont mind getting a bit muddy!

Now the biggest twist of all on this day is of course that with it being Halloween and all, we ask that you, no in fact we demand that you turn up in FANCY DRESS . Remember big party the night before (Saturday 29th) and anyone wishing to come down on the night can bring the tents as camping is available on site. Last months party was a good one with Chris getting far too drunk on red wine and having an impromptu threesome with Garfield and the craziest dog you are ever likely to meet

On to the prices. If you are bringing your own paint its £25. If you buy paint on site its £20. Many different grades of paint will be available on the day from £30 per case. Both prices include camping, party, lunch on the day, hot drinks and equipment hire if you need it.

Bookings are starting to flood in for this one so get in touch if you want to book. Remember, get hunting in the shops for some funky clothes. People dressing up as soldiers will not win the best dressed baller trophy!

I hear there are some exciting new improvements to Domination IV and there are even going to be a prize giving ceremony at the end?

is it true that the player who uses the most paint will be given a trophy and the worst fancy dress costume will get shot!!

also, i hear also that best dressed Halloween player will get a prize and Chris will run around the trenches at the end of the day while being hunted by the winning team.

Can you dispel or confirm any of these wild rumours?

All these rumours are true Scott apart from the one about Chris being chased around the trenches by the winning team.

The thought of 100 people chasing Chris whilst chucking paint in his general direction and shouting "Run Forest Run..." is quite amusing

Reading about the BRAVEHEART II scenario day in PBUK i liked the idea of 'tokens' placed in team bases. Things like….i duno... Garfield (a big yellow toy cat) in the red base and .... err.... Ian placed in the other (sorry mate).

As well as the domination points and ' the points' you can earn from them, there are BONUS points earned by capturing the opposition’s mascot.

For the sake of argument.... castle and bridge are the two domination points and the red team has Garfield as their mascot. The reds will have to safeguard Garfield (he can only stay in the spawn point/base, he cant be taken out of it.) But if the blues capture Garfield and take him to the blue base then the blues get an extra 200points. Enough points to make capturing the mascot worth while and defending them important.

It gives the scenario boys like me, general jim, big dave williams, the mould art mercenaries and badger wingnut an extra twist to sneak around the woods and blat people. The tourney guys with their funny looking comic wardrobe can shoot the sh*t out of each other over the sup' air and castle.

What do you recon?

i also think the trenches should also be in domination IV (if there are enough marshals) or you can mine them and thus its down to the player to risk crossing a mine field if they so choose

Have you sorted the paint out yet smog? i hear scorch tourney is hot stuff. Any chance of getting hold of any?

Sounds good Scott. Will put all this to the lads and see what they think.

We really REALLY want to put the trench map into domination but they need draining. We have had a few ideas for drainage so will hopefully have them dried out before domination. We have a few work experience lads down helping us at the moment...maybe they can offer a piggyback service to those who dont want to get their loverly clothes muddy.

Kill Crazy I will personally be scraping all the cow **** off the fields for you. Wouldnt want you to slide into a pile again

you certainly could line a pond with the clay up on those trenches and it is amusing seeing the state the punters come out after a game up there.
