University of Birmingham Paintball Club has affiliated to the UKPSF for a number of years now. We have done so for a number of reasons - to be part of UK paintball's governing body, and to support the work they do on our behalf, as well as enjoying a number of other benefits such as the members of our club receiving UKPSF rates.
We have seen a huge growth in University paintball over the last year, both in terms of the number of clubs springing up and in terms of the amount of inter-university activity. Following this I have been speaking with Steve Bull of the UKPSF, and we have arranged a new university affiliation package. As well as the benefits the individual clubs will receive, the UKPSF will be supporting University Paintball as a whole in a number of ways.
The Affiliation will cost £50 per year. It will include a subscription to PBUK for the club, it will mean that the clubs members will be enjoy the UKPSF member prices on things like the UKPSF big game, and id cards. And the best part is your students union will probably pay for it for you.
