UKPL Final Cancelled

[Syd (NSPL)]

Bully, the SWPL, Midlands Masters and Phoenix have all decided that the planned UKPL Final event on the 30th November has to be cancelled. Regrettably, the number of teams that cannot attend the event is just too high to do the final or the teams that would be making long journeys to attend justice.

The Final will now be deferred until next year, perhaps combining with the first event of the UKPL's 2004 season. An announcement about this will be released once a decision has been made.

Thanks to all the teams who supported the UKPL Final this year. It is a real shame that it cannot go ahead, but we hope you will embrace the 2004 UKPL format in the same manner. During the league's off-season, the UKPL partners will be meeting to discuss changes to the format, so any feedback or ideas you may have would be welcome. Over 35's

Sorry this is not meant to be thread jacking and it is not the reason the UKPL finals were cancelled.

If you are over 35 then there is an event on the 30 November. It is the Macmillian nurses over 35's charity paintball tournament. For further info look at the sticky on the tournie forum.

The UKPL will be back in 2004 - I accept mistakes have been made by the timing of the event but we have learnt and will put it right next year.
