I’ve mainly been organising this over the phone which is why I haven’t posted about this yet, but I thought I might as well put it up in case anyone who i'm not in contact wanted to get a team together from their Uni.
UK University Paintball Championship
- 5-a-side
- Sup'air
- Limited paint, center-flag, format.
- Sat 04/03/06 @ National Paintball Fields
- £75 entry per team
- Own kit allowed, rental kit available for hire.
- Bring your own paint, or available at site for £30 a box.
- Entry deadline Friday 25th Feb
Booking will be direct with the site. Call National Paintball Fields on 0121 3273961. Entry to be paid by deadline to secure places.
The full details of the format for the championships will be announced following consultation with teams. And the schedule will be announced the weekend prior once the entry deadline has passed and the final number of teams is known.
Teams for the championship must be made up of current registered students all from the same higher education institution. (I.e. no graduates, no combined teams.)
A number of teams have enquired about hotel accommodation for Friday and Saturday nights. The plan being to come up the night before on Friday ready for the championships on Saturday, then go out Saturday evening, and travel back on Sunday. I will be speaking to hotels about arranging a discount and will post and email details of this.
I will post a list of teams as entry fees start to come in.
