UK Scenario Team v Everyone else
Shoreline Paintball are delighted to announce that the UK Scenario Team v Everyone else game will take place on Sunday 10th February at Bawtry Paintball Fields. The event will take the form of a scenario walk-on... but with a twist. At least two of the games will be played exactly as the UK Scenario Team versus Everyone else, no matter how many people turn up!
The game will pit team mate against team mate, as those players representing the UK Scenario Team will go head to head with their domestic team mates - bragging rights will be up for grabs! Leading the UK Scenario team as ever will be Al “The General” Murray and taking charge of everyone else will be Tony “Da Boss” Lindsay. The final game of the day will be 'Rorkes Drift' and the UK Scenario Team will be led for this game by a very special guest…..Mr Paul Banks of BZPaintball. It promises to be one hell of a start to the season.
Tickets will be £25 and the event will be BYO or paint supplied on site, Draxxus midnight, frostbite etc at £30 per 2000 (if you want a particular brand of paint please get in touch ASAP and we’ll do our best to accommodate you).
Lee Wickham: “I am delighted that Shoreline has been asked to be involved in this project and I'm really looking forward to putting this game on. Bawtry is a fantastic site, I have no doubt that those who haven't played there recently will be impressed - particularly with the treetop fortress which is 60ft tall at it's highest point and cost over £40k to erect. This game should be a bit different to the rest of the games on the calendar in 2008 given that it will see players who are usually team mates competing against each other, I’m sure the rest of BZ will relish the chance to go up against me and the team. I'm really excited about the day itself and can hardly wait to play in the final game… Rorkes Drift."
Tim 'Timboy' Barnett: "It was always part of the plan to provide a 'warm-up' game for the UK Scenario Team prior to D-Day 2008. Already having a good relationship with Lee Wickham, and having played in the Armogeddon games, it was really a no brainer when considering who to ask to run our game. This game will provide a great opportunity for the UK Scenario Team to meet up socially before the event and then shoot some guns the following day. Given that there will be 30 players in the UK Scenario Team - it could be an interesting day if another 70 players turn up to take us on! Either way, I'm sure it'll be a cracking game."
Craig 'Jetmonkey' Barnett: "Our brief to Lee at Shoreline was that we wanted an early season, laid back and informal game where the UK Scenario Team could meet up and play some ball as a single unit before making the trip over the pond. Having seen the site, Shoreline's plans for the event and who is already going to be playing at the game - then it looks like the season is going to start with a proper tear-up."
Paul ‘Don’t throw, bloody spears, at me’ Banks: “It has been a long time since I’ve been able to take part in a game, I can’t think of a better time to make my debut and I’m honoured to be asked to lead the UKScenario Team against all comers, bring it on!”
Tickets now available in the Shoreline Shop please give names of all players when booking, and confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address supplied by PayPal. As ever we will be accepting cheques, please contact lee@shorelinepaintball.com for details.
At £25 these are going to be the hottest tickets around, and a perfect stocking filler... this is going to be AWESOME!!!
