Thanks Rich. Just to add that there are some strange rumors flying around that the group was created by some dissident scenario players intent on insulting one particular organiser.

That is categorically not true. I created it without encouragement or prompting from anyone else, as there didn't seem to be anywhere on Facebook that wasn't affiliated with a specific political faction within paintball or controlled by a commercial interest and thus tended to filter posts and ban users who contradicted the powers that be. I've no interest in stifling open discussion and wanted somewhere positive, so the rules are pretty loose, just no swearing/porn/bullying etc. Ideally I'll never have to delete a post or ban a user and it'll self manage, but we'll see how it goes.

Thanks to everyone who has joined and contributed so far, 700+ in two days!

Group membership now a frankly ridiculous 1000 people, no idea where they all came from!

To celebrate the milestone we're currently running a COMPETITION (oooooo!) in the group for the most amusing or interesting paintball-related story. First prize is a ticket to any 2014 UK paintball event of your choice, second prizes are three full annual memberships to the UKPSF and third prizes are basic UKPSF memberships for as many people as we've got money to buy them for (depends on cost of first prize ticket!).
