UK Masters 2007 Photography Service.

In Preperation for the 2007 Uk Masters 3,5,7 and 10 man and the infamous Welsh Open next year, Randon Photography would like the players input.

What services would you like us to provide?
What can we improve on from the 2006 season?
Are the images online quick enough for you?
What could we provide you with that would interest you?
Should we sponsor an upcoming team (with photos and maybe a subdomain website for them)?

seperation of team photos, or games would be nice... even if that pushes prices up slightly, or teams pay a small fee for this, whether they do or dont buy a photo from you.

other than that... all is brilliant nice work in the 06 season and look forward to the snaps from the 07 one

how about team portrait spot. get like a start gate. with ukm banner and teams can come to you through out the day. get all players together
and it can be like a team photo no charge for photo service but say prints are like 25 quid each etc. offered in print form only (kinda like a more expensive and better quality polaroid) plus ya hallmark can be put on the banner too?

you could possibly hire another photographer to do this btw (know someone). or! just do what you always do cause your service is second to non dan. could do with a cooler pic of me though... will have to try looking cooler on the field.

Maybe a few more pictures aswell. I know this is quite hard to improve on, but look at Matt pritchard.. He takes hundreds of the PA.

thats only cause rampings allowed at the pa... badum'tish!

but randons shots are usually a better quality...
pritchard (no offence) just snaps everything thus getting three shots of you getting mugged out. dan avoids this view eastie and gets a good one of you breaking out!

that means **** loads of films or memory cards depending on camera type - i assume digital - but thats alot of money unless its feeding straight to a pc which i doubt!

Matt take hundreds of the PA but then he has an advantage
He is the official photographer for the event and for PBUK
That takes nothing away from the quality of his work though
Dan provides a very similar service for the UK Masters

Both work equally hard to get a good saleable shot and thats all it's about
Neither make loads of money out of it, but still its extra cash in the pocket at the end of the day.

at the 7 man on average through the day there is about 1000 pictures taken and once the chaff has been removed leaves 800-900 good to excellent pictures. Thats with just 15-20 teams. I have 2 photographers interested in helping next year and more will be mentioned on this once deals have been done.

Remember guys we photographers make very little money out of this service that we provide once our expenses have been paid.

Also it's amazing that you mention the word sponsor and the amount of pm's that come flooding in is unbelieveable.

If I was to sponsor an upcoming team with a small website and some pictures thats all that would be offered and there would be no other advantage. So to try and keep my pm box fairly empty. it would be better to email me at teams@randonphotography.co.uk with full team details. The team i would choose to sponsor with some pictures etc is a team that would attend all of the rounds in one of series

Great Idea Manners, Could well do that at the lunch break. Would teams be prepared to pay for that service though?
