Not one for getting political much but im sick to death of the shafting us UK drivers are getting at the pumps, I do understand that fuel duty funds the various services etc but with the rising costs of oil and the risks to various industries such as haulage and fishig something has to give and I would hate to see jobs go. I mean its £1.15+ for a litre of petrol and upto half of that is now tax. Its all well and good the government saying they are listening then going off to see about increased production but its nothing that going to come about quick as plants need to be built.

Ive signed up to this after rememebring about the last major online petition where all who signed got a message off the PM about the driver pay as you drive road charging lark.

Ive signed up not truly believing anything will change but to have tried.

Mod's feel free to delete if you think this is SPAM or likley to turn in to a very heated debate.

What else is going to be taxed if petrol prices are lowered?

You've all already lost your 10p tax rate, nobody is going to be very happy if something else gets taxed, like paintballs:rolleyes:

..but I don't drive and don't pay taxes, so I'm fine.:)

Its a Joke tbh.

I've moaned about this till im blue in the face.

Also, why does Diesel cost more at the pump when it actaully costs less to produce? I have a passat, it costs me over £80 to fill it up now.

My weekend car costs over £120 to fill up and now they are saying I have to pay a stupid amount of road Tax on it as it is more polluting. For what??? I drive it once a week if that.

c**ts. All of them.

I think you are about to find out the hard way how far £30 doesn't go........
I think you are about to find that I don't have £30 a week to spend now, yet can still afford paintball, and have nothing else to spend my money on....:)
