Is there a difference between US and UK HPA tanks? I've heard and read it mentioned a couple of times before but I wasn't sure if it's true or not?

Thanks!

Yeah, buying a US tank to the UK isnt worth it. the bottle isnt to UK regulations. therefore people who know the difference wont let you use it at their sites/events.

Someone will ofcourse correct me if im wrong but thats what i understand it to be.

US use 'DOT' mark to show conformity with American law, UK uses a PI mark (which I can't
find on this keyboard; prolly on a hidden keyboard) to show compliance with UK legislation.
The two are not compatible.

Cylinders can be the same, however are only legal for use in the countries for which they are marked.
Some will feature both markings and can therefore be used in either country.

Even if the same cylinder is maufactured for both countries they cannot be used in the other if marked for one of the countries only.
