First off:

When the cocking rod is out my cocker and its fired...sometimes as if by magic it will re-cock itself. Is this extreme blowback from the valve..if so how do I get this tight in and sealed. Oring? New valve etc?

2nd Question: All weekend my shocker was busting paint all over the place, it has vision and I was using my halo....so why was it bursting paint. I replaced the SFT oring today and found the old one to be very hard so I changed it for a softer one...will this help me at all?

Thanks guys

Ryan

1 - thats not blowback, with no cocking rod the hammer is independant. It's because your main and valve springs are probably pretty balanced so that as the hammer hits the valve and compresses the valve spring, the valve spring returns it with enough force to push the hammer back over the sear, hence re-cocking.

There is no need to worry, unless you want to tweak your consistancy and/or efficiency by f*cking around with springs

2nd - could be anything from your halo bursting paint, to the bolt, to the eye. Probably paint / hopper related though

Not a clue about cockers matey, so won't be able to help there. But I might be able to help with the Shocker:

•Have you tried changing the SFT o-ring from a 17/90 to a 17/70?
•Check the battery on the Shocker as well, they can play up when it's down.
•Check your detents to see if they aren't warn.
•Make sure the bolt is fully cycling
•Try turning up the dwell a little - may help.
•Make sure your pressure isn't too high.

Hope it helps matey.
