U/L Barrel question

Does/would a stock proto 2 piece barrel tip fit onto a U/L back?

I'm guessing that it does but before I commit to buy a few U/L backs I wanna know if I can take the tip off my proto stock barrel and use that? or will I need to buy an U/L tip aswell?
