two types of Co2

i have been told that my freinds spyder might be leaking gas as i am using the wrong type of Co2. i didn't even know that there was two types, is this true or am i being taken up the garden path.:confused:

There isn't 2 types, only 2 states...liquid and gas.

Co2 is Co2, no changing it :)

Maybe he means you should have an antisiphon tube.

Gah, that's like using a loaf of bread to shelter from the rain (I don't know ehere that analogy came from, I am tired, ok? :eek: ) While a regulator may prevent liquid from entering the gun itself, regulators dislike liquid CO2 even more than the gun does. They have o-rings that freeze and bits to leak from as well. A regulator is not a replacement for an expansion chamber. But an anti-siphon tube deals with the problem well enough most of the time.

i use a palmer stabilizer reg with anti syphon works great, no spikes and since using reg no liquid , most spyder sites recomend a good reg to help keep liqiud out.:)
