Just back home from a great training weekend with Nexus and Nexus Eclipse down at Skirmish Nottingham and I have to say that is one of the best weekends I have had in a while. The Sinners and Twisted both came up for the Sunday and everyone played some great ball, the thing that impressed me the most was that we didn't have a single judge there and there wasn't a bad word or action in over 30 games ! Teams that come down to train and want to learn from other teams just impress me over and over again. The Sinners have come on leaps and bounds in the last few months and if they keep training the way they are they will do real well next year. Twisted were a few players light but played excellent ball and got better and better. It’s not always about the winning it about the learning. That’s why they call it “Training”

I think English paintball is on the way up, teams are training better now and there are a lot of teams out there that could take a leaf out of the Sinners, Twisted and Nexus book here and start to train correctly, I’m not saying are way is the only way or the right way but there are too many teams that just shoot each other all day long and learn zero, it's better to lose 100% of your games and learn something than it is to win them all and learn squat !

Thanks for a great weekend guys... Sinner and Twisted it was a pleasure and you are more than welcome any time you like guys.

Cheers Ledz, it was a great day - nice to warm up again from not training for 2 months!

Nexus Eclipse are going to be an awesome team, there all so bloody small and quick.........

Nexus are just the bomb, simple as.

Let us know when your training next, and if you want us there again we would be happy too!

:)

Thanks to Nexus, Nexus Eclipse, Twisted and Imperial
Have I missed anyone out?

The Norwich Sinners woud like to thank the fore-mentioned peeps for another excellent days training. Once again you have taught us some new stuff and allowed us to try out some of our more hairbrained ideas [6ft 4 players playing the snake what ever next?] As always you guys are approachable and always willing to offer advise and point out ways we are going wrong. Big up to you guys.
Have a good Christmas and new year. Oh and Ledz try not to break something snowboarding.
And those who want to know keep an eye on Nexus Eclipse they are like a smaller faster version of Nexus with a year together under thier belt we are going to have two kick arse teams on the circuit.

Thanks again and see you in the new year

PS Mr Collier you will find that your markers will work far better if you own an air system to bolt to them

Yup and scarey, you need to watch Eclipse play nexus to see the potential in these kids.

I recommend any team to turn up at one of these training days. Yes you will get beaten but you have to remember that you are playing the best team in the Uk at the moment and the things you pick up just watching them is amazing.
