I have been flipping through the channels a bit lately and have watched all sorts of sporting events coverage, most of them a weekly show with a common theme. What I find most disturbing is how boring they are and wonder how they get on the air in the first place. I mean, thirty minutes of two guys walking through the fields wearing camo whispering hunting tips before shooting an animal they have been feeding all year in that very spot has got to be the biggest waste of time I have spent yet. And have you ever watched a surfing competition? They all do the same thing. They stand up, then cut back and forth until they fall or decide to stop. I can't even figure out how they can stay awake to judge it. I'm not saying that these people are unskilled or don't put time and effort into what they do. What I'm saying is that what they do is incredibly boring to watch and I can't quite grasp how they can get it onto TV. I would much rather watch tourney coverage like that found on warpig then watch a dog wade around a pond while his handler blows a whistle so he can retrieve a plastic duck. I'm sure many of you feel the same way. What other sports can you think of that bore the snot out of you that have regular programming?

I have to agree with you on the hunting programme (also have you ever seen the fishing programmes on digital?) and such like, however to other surfers the surfing programmes are great. Just like snowboarding, skateing etc programmes are great to snow boarders and skaters. A lot of other people will say that watching a paintball game is boring aswell, yet we think it is great. There are always going to be people out there with different tastes in sports who will think that other sports to their own are boring to watch compared to their sports. What I want to know is how come if sports like hunting, fishing, skateing etc. can get on TV, why the hell can't paintball?
