turn the reg on my bottle?

hey guys, when i play, i cant get my hand at my gun very well at all, the sticking out valve bit is pressing into my wrist.

i was wondering if it is possible to turn the part with the thread around a bit so this doesnt happen..?

would be gratefull for any help at all, cheers all
