ok, how do you fit the l/p hose securely to the hollowpoint, because my 'hat' things are too big, because the hollowpoint outlet bits are closer togetherand they are thinner so they are kinda baggy. any way to remedy this??

I didn't have the problem with the hose clamps being too large, but to fit them on all three hoses is a piece of cake. Just clamp down the middle one as the last one, and it'll fit right over the other two.

fitted. i kinda squished in the flarey bits with pliers which also made them tighter
but it kinda makes quite a hiss when i pull the triiger and the block goes back, does it just need lube?

ummm, one trick you might want to do is to only put the hoses on the nipple partway, then when you squish the "hat" on, it pushes the hose all the way on with no fuss. Also, if the hose has been on the nipple before, you might want to trim the old, stretched section to make it fit tighter onto the nipple...or spend a few pennies and buy a whole new section of LP hose, maybe yours was a little larger than normal?
