i JUST BOUGHT A 16 INCH TRU FLIGHT BARREL FOR MY SYDER ESPRIT. It sucks! When i shoot the balls it goes down, 50 feet, and feels weak. I put my little 9.5 inch stock barrel and it shoots much farther and more accurate. How come the tru flight suck so much. do i have to do something special to it? Do i have to buy a different size paintball?

thanks

you need a better paint/barrel match m8,the balls should fit snugly in the barrel, but you need to be able to blow them out, otherwise you will have barrel breaks

I will answer all your questions

1. You get what you pay for
2. hit it repeatedly with a hammer until flat, fold 3 times, and throw it in the bin.
3. No, you need to buy a decent barrel.

Go for a Smartparts Teardrop or Progressive, or maybe a freak junior. Dye's Excel Barrel is very good for Spyders so I have been told.

All you need is to match the paint like you do with all barrel.
My 21" Thunder Pig barrel has been used on two occasions when the paint / barrel match was spot on and it fired a dream. And my m8 used his 3 week ago at YPC with Blaze and it ran ok
The 2 barrels + 2 x 28 inch pull thru's together cost not much more than a Dye Xcel and that after shipping from the US

Even boomsticks will suck if the paint is that far out, but they are more tolerant apparently
