Travelling with paintball gear

Hi guys,

I'm moving back to Dubai (hard life ain't it!?) and I've done some research and found there is a small but keen paintball scene there so I want to take my gear back with me, what's the deal with travelling internationally a marker and gas bottle etc in your suitcase?

If anyone has got any info it'd be much appreciated, I don't really fancy getting stopped by customs and trying to explain myself! I appreciate it's inevitable to an extent, I'm carrying something resembling a gun but yeh any heads up would be useful!

De-gas your bottle and if you can remove the valve to prove it's got no pressure in it. Top tip is put a paintball magazine or dvd at the top of your bag. It makes it a lot easier to describe what your doing when you get stopped at customs.
