Hi,
I've just started playing paintball and getting my own gear, Gog Enemy, just wondering if there's any problems or things i have to watch out for whilst travelling with my marker. Obviously in a bag, but on trains/ busses do they allow it easily or would i have to declare i'm carrying it,
I see most of the big scenario's seem 100's of miles away (I live in the north of scotland) and it would be easier to travel by train, unless anyone knows of some in scotland.

Officially you are not allowed markers on public transport.
(Even stripping it down)

But people use public transport for events all of the time

Of course remove the air & barrel.
Bag it - not in a carrier bag

I take mine on the train occasionally. Never had any issues.

Did get a funny look when i opened my bag (without anyone being able to see into it) and checked the tank then turned to the mrs and said "yeah, just over 2000 psi full". As a result.. I wouldn't recommend doing that.

hide it away and leave it there and you will be fine :D

In my experience it doesn't matter what brand the bag is either. People not into paintball do not normally recognise PE bags etc, but you can always use nike or any other cheap sports branded one for additional peace of mind.
