Tourny At Sparklies (3rd)

Just like to say had a wicked time at the tourny today,had some great games

thanks to:-

all the teams who we played against

sparklie chick for organising the event

the marshall's for doing a wicked and fair job

and god for giving us a dry day lol

also beaker (thunder)when you were filming did you get any of
me if you did could i get a copy of it. i was the one with the red impulse,playing for team cant shoot wont shoot.int the bronze diablo top's

The three SAD teams would also like to say well done to Sparklie and that we all had a great day.
Well done to SAD Too for taking first place in division 2 and also the overall winners, and also for showing us Old Buggers in SAD Blue and Black how to play ball. Also well done to Dark Rites for winning division 1, and we'll see you up at the Midlands Masters soon.
A big well done to Team Can't Shoot Won't shoot for not only spanking our arses on the village field but also for nicking our third place position on the last game. We'll have our revenge guy's.
It was nice to travel down south and play, and we appreciate the welcome we were given by all you southerners.
Hopefully we may see some of your guy's paying a visit to our patch in the Midlands / North sometime soon.
The cookies were as good as you said there'd be sparklie, but I want some more as the fat B*****d's in my teams ate most of them.

THE SPANKING

well i wasnt going to mention it

but we also maxed the last game against sad blue,on the first field ,it was sad black we k,butt on the village field, lol but i was good playing you guys you felt the force of a team under new management(captain tom),new name,(csws)and lots of good calls (whole team)we also playing as a proper unit (for a change) also forgot to mention the rest of the team played blinding today

shame we sucked arse so bad !!!! first torny so guess we just need to pick up the bits and learn for our mistakes ( or only play cant shoot wont shoot exclusively!!)

A big thank you

I would like to thank all the teams involved and remind you we are holding another one in june so if you missed this one keep your eyes open for the next one.

This tourney was the result of the postings of you the members of the forum. It was the tourney you all asked for (all that passed comment) We still have room to improve and I have a list as long as your arm of things to do on that score.

And yes it did not rain so we even got the nice weather you asked for.

It has to have been one of the best days ever on site I can only thank every one again.

The atmosphere was amazing every one was friendly even the kids were cool if not a little messy lol

Yes I can cope with real proper cooking on site.

Cookies well phil I could send some up with the boys but I think they might munch them on the way.

Thanks to you and blakey for your comments as it is all valued I hope to join you at the midlands masters soon.

I hope all the entry teams enjoyed them selfs we had a few suprises on the feilds today

i guess we are not a fair weather team...
if it had rained then maybe it would have been dufferent...but i doubt it sometimes you just cant lift your game...not to worry...
thanks to everyone,the marshalls,the organisers,the caterers and all the teams who played...i personally learnt loads and met some real people...i left the tourney tired and smiley and gorged to the brim on cookies...which reminds me-next time sparklie in advance can i book chicken curry for the team pls-thanks...

I am peeved that I was working but will be at the end of the month midland masters by hook or by crook.

Glad everyone had a good day, if there is video footage can i get a copy (beaker let me know i;ll send u a tape)

Next time i will be there and to those who still are yet to try the cookies, it is the best reason to play!!!!

again a thanks to all the marshals and to sparklie for the great time. it was a good day and the team all played fair. all teams did well and this was a great break in for tourneys for all the new players not only on my team, but on all the teams i belive. only thing for inprovement i saw was those hand held chronoghs. they were shooting hight then the one set at the range. they were pulling about 10 psi over then the one we were useing to set the markers. i belive a good bit of teams did notice this trend. other then that it was a great day with no worries. good luck to all and see ya in the middle next time
