Tournaments around the world

As a first step for the harmonisation of paintball I suppose one ought to know what tournaments are run where in which countries.

Obviously we all know that the UK has the

Paintball Association
Series 2K
NWSP
UK Masters
Dragons Lair
Darfford 7's

But there will be a requirement to know the tournaments and their organisors around the world.

Post up what you know dude and who knows there maybe a world cup coming your way soon.

But we've got 2 Paintball World cups already! Last weekend in Eurodisney, and in October/November in Florida.

Why on earth would we want a third?

Just an idea, but then there might be only one with national teams rather than the traditional teams.

Diss it if you like, just an idea!

Nice idea, but can you really see individual players giving up their lucative team sponsorship deals just to play another "World Cup"

Paintball ain't football/rugby/hockey - it's more like skateboarding or Motocross as regards to team structure and financing/sponsorship.

'Sides, how the hell do you harmonise a sport that can't even decide on a single competition format?

Format is not really an issue as multiple formats are supported by the FA, the rule book is however.

No need for the players to forsake their deals if the teams agree to release their players to the national team like in other sports. Extra coaching etc., could be a bonus to them.
